Since 1999, Gary Kaufman, ExcelliSearch’s Founder and Managing Director, has been involved in recruiting, managing recruiting teams, and developing recruiting strategies and processes for companies in the staffing industry, corporate America and in the technology consulting space. He previously earned the designation Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) and Certified Social Media Recruiter (CSMR) through AIRS.

From 2005-2012, Gary worked with one of the world’s largest global retail / e-commerce leaders, progressing through a number of talent acquisition roles, including Sr. Manager of Recruiting. He then spent two years as a senior recruiting team member at an award-winning Oracle Platinum Partner consulting organization. There, he focused on supporting the recruiting needs of the Oracle eBusiness, Cloud and JD Edwards practices by developing solid relationships in the technical community. Additionally, Gary was responsible for recruiting Practice leadership and driving recruiting process improvements.
In January 2014, Gary launched ExcelliSearch and proudly serves as its managing director. He is passionate about finding top talent for great companies across the USA and Canada, matching talented IT professionals to exciting opportunities with sought after organizations. By truly getting to know his clients, he goes beyond the job description to assure a long-term fit for both the hiring company and the candidate.
Gary has a zest for helping others beyond the recruiting space. In his free time, he has volunteered with an animal rescue organization, served on the board of Florida Atlantic University Ice Hockey, and is currently a Big in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.
